With a land area of almost 98,000 square miles that is ranked 10th in overall size in America but with a population ranked 50th (around 600,000 residents estimated in 2019), the Equality State is probably too spread out to warrant having a thriving gambling community.
That said, there are four casinos, all of which are located in Fremont County, with all four properties being owned and operated by Native American tribes under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act of 1988. At these locations, you will find the normal array of slot machines, with some locations also being able to offer table games such as blackjack, poker and roulette.
The state is also home to the Wyoming Downs race track in Evanston that is allowed to host 34 race meetings throughout the year where visitors can take part in parimutuel wagers and also play on the historical horse racing terminals, which help to bring in tens of millions of dollars in revenue for the state. There are also off-track betting locations located in the state for residents who can’t make the trip.
Also available is access to Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) leagues, games of skill via World Winner, and the state has also been running a lottery since 2013. The option to purchase tickets online has not yet arrived.
Although every care has been taken into providing the information for this map, state law can often change and this map is how we at GamingUSA understand the gambling law in each state to be as of March 27th 2023
